About Joseph C. Palais
Joseph C. Palais is the Professor of Electrical Engineering at the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering, Arizona State University. A graduate of the University of Arizona, Tucson, Dr. Palais obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. The ECEE Graduate Program Chair, Dr. Palais has worked as a Microwave Engineer for Motorola and for Stanford Research Institute and has been a consultant for several private firms, including Sperry Flight Systems, Sylvania, and Polaroid. He has also contributed sections to The Electrical Engineering Handbook, and The Communications Handbook.
