Summary of the Book
Zachary Bramwell wishes he had more action in his life. Known to comic book fans as the artist Zak Zap, he feels the weight of his 40s on his shoulders and wonders why his life isn't nearly as exciting as the lives of the characters he draws. But wishing for something you don't want to happen is usually a mistake, and Zachary discovers this first hand as a group of men in black kidnap him and whisk him away to Mount Meru in the Himalayas. There, a group of businessmen force Zachary to design suits for a group of ragtag superhumans who they want to resemble the ten avatars of the Hindu God Vishnu. Merging superheroes and gods, Lovegrove draws a story for all ages and draws a team that takes on the world. But is the world ready to meet the would-be Gods straight out of the Vedas?
