He has authored over thirty books, like Leadership and the One Minute Manager: Increasing Effectiveness Through Situational Leadership, Gung Ho! Turn On the People in Any Organization, and Raving Fans: A Revolutionary Approach To Customer Service.
Blanchard procured a Bachelor’s degree in government and philosophy at Cornell University in 1961, a Master’s degree in counseling and sociology from Colgate University in 1963, and a doctorate from Cornell University in 1967. He currently works in the capacity of a Chief Spiritual Officer for a management training and consulting company that him and his wife co-founded The Ken Blanchard Companies. He is also a trustee and visiting Professor at Cornell University School of Hotel Administration.
Spencer Johnson, born in South Dakota in 1940, is an American author, consultant and motivational speaker.
