মার্টিন লিংগস (জানুয়ারী ২৪, ১৯০৯ - মে ১২, ২০০৫)। একজন নওমুসলিম। ইসলামি নাম আবু বক্কর সিরাজুদ্দিন। তিনি একজন পশ্চিমা লেখক, শিক্ষাবিদ ও ফ্রিটজফ শুয়ানের শিষ্য ও শেক্সপিয়র বিষয়ে বিজ্ঞ ব্যক্তি ছিলেন। তিনি মোহাম্মদ: হিজ লাইফ বেইসড অন দ্যা আর্লিয়ার সোর্স (Muhammad: His Life Based on the Earliest Sources) বইয়ের লেখক হিসাবেই সমধিক পরিচিত। বইটি ১৯৮৩ সালে প্রথম প্রকাশ পায় এবং অদ্যাবধি মুদ্রিত হয়ে চলেছে। বইটির জন্য পাকিস্তান ও মিশর সরকার থেকে পুরস্কার লাভ করেন। ইসলামাবাদে অনুষ্ঠিত সীরাত সম্মেলনে তার এ গ্রন্থটি ইংরেজিতে লিখিত নবীর শ্রেষ্ঠ জীবনী হিসাবে বিশেষ মর্যাদায় প্রশংসিত হয়েছে। তিনি ম্যানচেস্টারের বুরনেইজে একটি প্রোটেষ্ট্যান্ট পরিবারে জন্ম গ্রহণ করেন। ইংরেজি সাহিত্যে স্নাতক ডিগ্রি অর্জন পর্যন্ত যথাক্রমে ক্লিফটন কলেজ, ম্যাগডালেন কলেজ এবং অক্সফোর্ডে পড়াশুনা করেন। তারপর লিখুয়্যানিয়ার ভিয়্যাউতাস ম্যাগনাস বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে প্রাচীন ইংরেজি ভাষা- এ্যাংলো এবং আধুনিক ও পুরাতনের মধ্যবর্তী ইংরেজি ভাষার রুপ মিড্যাল ইংলিশ (Middle English) অধ্যায়ন করেন। কায়রোতে এক যুগের অধিক সময় বসবাস কালে তিনি কায়রো বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে ইংরেজি ভাষার শিক্ষকের দায়িত্ব পালন করেন এবং শেকসপিয়ার বিরচিত নাটকের বাৎসরিক পরিবেশনার আয়োজন করতে থাকেন। ১৯৪০ সালে তিনি ইসলাম ধর্ম গ্রহণ করেন। তার একটি বইয়ের ভূমিকা লিখেছেন ব্রিটিশ যুবরাজ চার্লস। মৃত্যুর কিয়দকাল পূর্বে এ বিষয়ে দেওয়া একটি সাক্ষৎকার তার মৃত্যুর পর ‘শেক্সপিয়ার্স স্পীরিচ্যুয়ালিটি: এ পারস্পেকটিভ, এ্যান ইন্টারভিউ উইথ মার্টিন লিংগস’ নামে চলচিত্রের রুপ লাভ করে।
