Saad Islam was born in 1994 in Dhaka, Bangladesh. He is an entrepreneur, computer engineer, writer, social worker, and bestselling author. In December 2021, he became the youngest PhD Candidate in Artificial Intelligence from Bangladesh at 27 years, when he was selected for the PhD in Artificial Intelligence program at the University of Southern Queensland, Australia (ranked Top 1% in the World) with a $40,000 Scholarship. He graduated with First Class Honors for his Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Engineering from North South University (NSU), Bangladesh in 2019. He completed his Master's Degree, with a double major in Business, Management & Organisations and in Marketing from Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia in 2021. Saad is an alumnus of Mastermind School and Maple Leaf Int. School and was active in club and social work throughout his academic life. He is the co-founder of the non-profit organisation, Blessings Foundation Bangladesh. He was the youngest alumnus, at 25, to be featured by NSU on their official website and NSU OEA Newsletter in 2020. His father, Prof. Dr. Md Nazrul Islam, is an eye specialist at Bangladesh Eye Hospital & Institute, Dhaka. His mother, Prof. Dr. B H Nazma Yasmeen, is a child specialist at Northern International Medical College, Dhaka.
