The approach is to treat international financial management as a natural extension of financial management principles. Because of this, the book builds on the valuation framework provided by domestic corporate finance to account for dimensions unique to international finance.

About The Author Alan C. Shapiro is the author of two successful Wiley texts (both in International Finance), which have continued to thrive over several editions. He is a highly respected researcher and teacher at USC, and holds the Ivadelle and Theodore Johnson Professorship in Banking and Finance. Dr. Shapiro received his Ph.D. from Carnegie Mellon. Also, in October 1993, Business Week recognized him as one of the 10 most in-demand business school professors in the United States for teaching in-house corporate executive education programs.
