Product Specification & Summary

Summary of the Book
Under the shroud of midnight, US Navy SEAL Team Six raided the Waziristan Haveli, an upper class mansion in Bilal Town, Abbottabad, Pakistan. Their mission was dubbed Operation Neptune Spear and was one of the most crucial moves of the Obama regime. Their target was the most wanted man alive, a man that the United States of America was screaming to see dead for over ten years. That man was Osama bin Laden, the former leader of the terrorist group known as al-Qaeda and the man responsible for the attacks on the Twin Towers of the World Trade Centre on September 11, 2001. Bringing together excerpts from his youth and a first person account of what happened that day, Mark Owen reveals the story that the US Government refused to divulge. A story that reveals the raid and the events that followed in black and white.

About the Authors
Mark Owen is the pseudonym of a US Navy SEAL and member of the United States Naval Special Warfare Development Group who took part in Operation Neptune Spear which resulted in the death of Osama bin Laden. Kevin Maurer is an American journalist. He has been pivotal in documenting US Military operations for over a decade, following the troops into the initial invasion of Iraq and spending ten weeks in Afghanistan.
