Product Specification & Summary

Summary of the Book
Professor Lidenbrock rushes home to his study to examine a curious purchase: an original runic manuscript of an Icelandic saga. The saga is written by Snorri Sturluson, and it greatly interests the professor. In the book, he discovers a cryptic note, written by the Icelandic alchemist Arne Saknussemm. In the note, Saknussemm claims that he managed to uncover the secret path to the centre of the Earth. Lidenbrock and his nephew Alex journey to Iceland on a suicidal mission to verify Saknussemm’s words. They hire a guide named Hans who helps them journey to the volcano of Snæfellsjökull, where, Saknussemm’s note claims, they will find the crater to the centre of the Earth. As they journey deeper, they discover a wondrous prehistoric land, sealed away from the rest of the world. Here, ancient creatures walk, still alive beneath the surface. When they return home, they will be able to announce that they’ve made a discovery of a lifetime. However, that is possible only if they return home, and there doesn’t seem to be a way out of this place.
