Summary Of The Book
Artemis Fowl, the titular character, is an Irish teenage criminal mastermind. Along with his bodyguard, Domovoi Butler, and his friends Holly Short and Foaly, he saves the humans and fairies from danger. In the beginning, Artemis Fowl uses his skills to increase his family’s fortune, but later shares his booty and helps the public. The series traces Artemis’ transformation from a selfish criminal to a selfless hero.

In Artemis Fowl And The Last Guardian, we find Artemis and his friends up against their old villain Opal Koboi. Opal is adamant on destroying the human beings and becoming the Fairy Queen. She devises a new plan to completely destroy mankind. She plans her release from prison, and opens the magical Berserker's Gate.

When the Berserkers rise, they inhabit the bodies of Artemis' four-year-old brothers Beckett and Myles Fowl. Butler's sister Juliet, is also possessed by these demonic creatures that cause mass destruction.
