About the Author Mamun-Al-Mahtab is a new generation Hepatologist of Bangladesh who has already shown great promise. A great enthusiast in clinical research, he has over 80 international publications to his credit. He is the Senior Editor of Bangladesh Liver Journal, the first dedicated liver journal from the region, and Hungarian Medical Journal. Dr. Mahtab has delivered talks and chaired sessions in most major international liver meetings. He had received recognition for his work from the Cochrane Hepatobiliary Group, International Association for the Study of the Liver, and the World Gastroenterology Organization among others. He is an excellent clinician. Trained in UK and in Bangladesh, he shows promise as an interventional Hepatologist. Salimur Rahman is a veteran Hepatologist of Bangladesh being one of the founders of the discipline in the country. He has over 100 international publications. He is the Editor-in-Chief of Bangladesh Liver Journal, an Editor of Hepatitis B Annual, and formerly Editor of Bangladesh Journal of Medicine.
