Mufti Taqi Usmani is a Pakistani Scholar who was the judge of the Shariat Appellate bench of the supreme court of the country. He is an expert on Hadith, Islamic Economics and Tasawwuf (Islamic Spirituality). He is from Hanafi ideology. He wrote more than 60 books in Urdu, Arabic, and English. A lot of Mufti Taqi Usmani books are translated into Bangla also. He is also the vice president of the Darul Uloom Karachi. He is one of the leading Shariah scholars of Islamic finance. Mufti Taqi Usmani books are very famous among the Islamic background people, especially from the madrasa student and others. But now Muslims from the nonIslamic background are also looking for Mufti Taqi Usmani books. As an author he writes books and articles and also he has many fatwa. Some of his great books are Takmilat Fath al Mulhim bi Sharh Sahih al-Imam Muslim, Maqalat al Uthmani, Usul al Ifta wa-adabuhu, Buhuth fi Qadaya fiqhiyah muasirah, etc. An introduction to Islamic finance, Easy good deeds, The Authority of Sunnah, What is Christianity, Islamic Months: Merits and Precepts, The Hadith,The Islamic Law of Animal Slaughter, The amendments in Hudood laws are some famous Mufti Taqi Usmani books in English. He got many awards in his life. In 2019 he received the Sitara-i-Imtiaz (star of Excellence) award from the president of Pakistan.
