Aafrida embarked on her global journey at the tender age of 3. Having resided in the UK, India, and Tanzania, she eagerly awaits her next destination: Nigeria. Throughout her 11 years, Aafrida has experienced the heartache of losing friends, yet she bravely embraces the opportunity to forge new connections. Her love for reading has been a constant companion, and at the age of 6, she began crafting her own tales. Aafrida’s passion lies in writing stories for younger children, and she is currently engrossed in several other creative projects. Beyond writing, she seeks solace in music, diligently learning to play the flute and piano. Her dream is to compose her own music someday. Aafrida’s heart beats true to her Bangladeshi roots. She fluently speaks, reads, and writes in Bangla. During school holidays, she loves being with her extended family in Bangladesh, savoring the cuisines from different restaurants in Dhaka.
