Blood For Transfusion and Transplantation (Offset)

The central blood transfusion department was established by our father of nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibor Rahman on 8th October 1972 in the Institute of post graduate and research. Dhaka (I.P.G. M. R) present in Block-A first floor.
The pioneer of the establishment of Blood transfusion service and Diploma course in Blood Transfusion (DBS and T) under the Dhaka University in 1972. by Professior and head of the department of Blood Transfusion Dr. M.Rahman, T.Q.A, MBBS, Ph.D (Glasgow). The service comitte gives all advice and direction regarding blood collection, donor motivation, transfusion rules and law. I hope this book will help to physician, blood transfusion specialist, medical technologist, nurseing student and blood donor motivator. This book will gives some knowledge and build skill in blood group serology, transfusion and transplantation. It will also gives a short of knowledge regarding transfusion transmitted disease, donor motivation, protection of donor, made a chain of donor who are always ready for to donate blood in any acute emergency, as well as to save the thalassaemia,haemophilia, and other person who are suffering from chronic anaemia due to disease process are depend on regular blood transfusion.
I hope to work together we shall overcome the shortage of blood in all acute emergency either for family member,relatives, our neighbor and for our country in any acute emergency.
The working experience of 35years of blood transfusion in different medicall colleges as a medical officer, as a treacher in different specialist hospital and working in Transfusion Medicine Department in Bangobandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University encourage me to write this book.
