Rifat Hasan is a young Bangladeshi writer. He was born on 17 January 1980 in a village of Chittagong in Bangladesh. He has institutional studies in Economics and Law and his area of interest are poetry, religion and politics. He has a critical position in understanding power in modern discourse and the states formed by it, citizenship and identity politics. He believes in the autonomy of societies and tolerance among them. Also, he aspires to the revolutionary change of human relations within the political paradigms, and the rise of justice and equality.
