Anwar Hossain. With an academic and administrative career spanning nearly for five decades Prof. Anwar Hossain was the key person in designing and introducing the undergraduate business education program (BBA) in the country. Serving in IBA Dhaka University for thirty seven years since February 1972 as faculty and Director Dr. Hossain joined the nascent private universities since 2006 and served in three private universities as Dean, Pro-Vice Chancellor and Vice chancellor . A graduate from Dhaka University, Dr. Hossain earned his MBA degree from Indiana University (USA) back in 1971 and was a prominent organizer of freedom movement of Bangladesh in USA and UK during the liberation war. He earned his Dr. in Economic science degree from the Economics faculty of Belgrade University in 1983. He is currently serving in Northern university Bangladesh as the Vice Chancellor.
