সাইদ নুরসি (১৮৭৬ – ১৯৬০), বদিউজ্জামান নামেও পরিচিত ছিলেন। তিনি একজন সুন্নি মুসলিম ধর্মতাত্ত্বিক। তিনি রিসালায়ে নূর নামক কুরআনের ব্যাখ্যা রচনা করেন। এটির আকার ছয় হাজার পৃষ্ঠার অধিক। আধুনিক বিজ্ঞান ও যুক্তিকে ভবিষ্যতের পথ বিবেচনা করে তিনি সাধারণ বিদ্যালয়ে ধর্মীয় জ্ঞান ও ধর্মীয় বিদ্যালয়ে আধুনিক বিজ্ঞান শিক্ষাদানের পক্ষপাতী ছিলেন।নুরসি একটি বিশ্বাসভিত্তিক আন্দোলনের সূত্রপাত করেন। এই আন্দোলন তুরস্কে ইসলামের পুনর্জাগরণে ভূমিকা রাখে। বর্তমানে সারাবিশ্বে এর ব্যাপক অনুসারী রয়েছে। তার অনুসারীদের প্রায় "নুরজু" বা "নুর জামাত" নামে অবিহিত করা হয় এবং তাকে শ্রদ্ধা করে উস্তাদ ডাকা হয়।অনুরক্ত তুর্কি যুবসমাজ তাকে বদিউজ্জামান বা যুগের বিশ্বয় (Wonder of the age) নামে অভিহিত করে।
