মেজর জেনারেল মোঃ নজরুল ইসলাম (অব)

Major General Md Nazrul Islam, SBP, SPP, ndu, afwc, psc, G (Retired), served in Bangladesh Army for approximately 36 years in leadership, institution-building, and serving the people. He was a General Officer Commanding and Adjutant General of the Bangladesh Army, where such roles put him in the centre of leadership development, personnel management, discipline and organisational culture. He was also the chairperson of the governing boards of cadet colleges and assisted in producing future leaders in the country

As Executive Chairman of the Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA), he acted as a key interface between policymakers, investors and industry, contributing to the development of Bangladesh's export-led industrial landscape. He also gained exposure to financial and banking-related responsibilities, enhancing his understanding of governance, risk and economic decision-making. He is an Executive Member (Planning and Development) of the Bangladesh Economic Zones Authority (BEZA) now.

He has also been involved in his professional activities as an adjunct faculty member of Strategic Management and writes frequently in newspapers on issues of social science, especially youth, leadership, and human potential. These life experiences are at the basis of Zi-DoNa.
