Product Specification & Summary

Tamanna Ferdous, quite unknown in the world of books and publications, has done the amazing by her introducing a book titled ‘‘The Power of a Positive Mind” in her earlier age, which is the first book she has ever written. And that this single book can deserve claims to be with the writers much appreciated for their applications in the atmospheres of human life and the necessities of life.
Either experience in respect of age or establishment of institutional premises, Tamanna Ferdous has none of the conventional. With having a brilliant academic background from the schools and colleges, and with aspiring ambition of building career, she left her homeland Bangladesh for England at her earlier age and got herself admitted for the aspiring LLB degree. From there, she left for Australia for higher courses in the same discipline. But what inspired to her writing while she still doing for her academic courses ? To find out the answer, we shall have to look at a glance, at her academic premises and the interactive lay-outs built from her atmospheres.
She has completed her Postgraduate Law degrees, Graduation Diploma in Australian Law, Graduation Diploma in Legal Practice from University of Technology Sydney (Barrister and Solicitors course (Degree). While in Australia, she had also studied further subjects like Positive Psychology Mental health and Counselling, Islamic Law. Currently she is working with a Legal Firm in Sydney CBD with the Family Law and property Law. Along with continuing for completing the courses, she has made herself associated with different legal farms and humanitarian organizations and is getting into very busy hours, day and night. Her interactions with different people from these fields have brought her too close introspective to revealing the real face of the society. As she is living abroad for more than a decade, she has come across with lots of people come from all around the world. She loves to learn about different cultures, their histories, languages, and other things. These all resources and knowledges have boosted her to know more about various aspects of life and inspired her to write what she had seen, what she had learnt, and what she had experienced. Undoubtedly the consequence is ‘‘The Power of a Positive Mind”.
What is the age Tamanna lives in? It is at best on the line between 31 and 40. As reflected in the book “The Power of Positive Mind’’, Tamanna Ferdous, in the tiny periphery of her age, had, as if, seen and experienced all the things of the visual world and had realized all the things of the unseen world. Human behaviour in our society has occupied most of her thoughts and feelings, and its dimension has even crossed the boundary of her own atmospheres and has transcendented to the utmost limits of every corner of the world. In this respects, her thoughts has got the feelings and images of universal gravity. The thoughts contained in the book are casual as well as of the deepening concepts in respect of unveiling the realities of life. Nature, its changes in different situations, in different seasons, in different hours of the days, keep impacts upon our thoughts and works, feelings and imaginations and this is universal, not the matter of a particular place or individual.
The entries in the book are many (near about eighty) and may seem boring and exaggarated. But they are kaleidoscopic and multidimensional. They are a chronicle of the nature of the elements inhabiting the earth, especially the human beings and their dealings with their counterparts in the environments, including nature and the animals. In her way of doing with job-activities, she has exposed the stark real identity of human nature, our cruel ethnic behaviour amongst communities and nations, with animals and nature.
Following the contents, discussions have been made on success and failure, hope and depression, cruelty and kindness, co-operation and non-co-operation, sympathy and apathy, love and hatred, heaven and hell, our friendly, as wall as inimical environments, which are all always prevailing in our families, our workplaces out, in our walking and journeys. How courageous she is in her expositions when we see that she has explained these concepts from philosophical and psychological context, citing the concrete real situations, pointing to the faults and foils of our adults when they behave with man and nature in societies!
Tamanna Ferdous always wants a beautiful friendly living and workplace, where a man or a woman can work better and feel better. For this, she admits of the importance of sound body and mind. Eat better, do better and feel better and thus build a healthy environment for congenial living conditions. Like a physician, she had kept suggestions what kind of food, how much food we should eat daily, she also had advised to take physical exercise regularly, eat good hygienic food and live in hygienic environment. Having good health is a very significant part of our life burdened with duties and work. Tamanna, in her personal life, also loves to take physical exercise, loves to do yoga, i.e. meditation and prayers every day, to achieve good health.
Tamanna Ferdous believes in God and in the concept of doing good and getting reward, and incurring punishment in the case of doing wrong. She believes in the world after and like a clergyman, she suggests to have prayers according to the respective beliefs of the devotees for the salvation of the souls. She dreams of a happy life both in this world and in the world after and to live a peaceful and happy life in this world, we should maintain ethics, live honestly and have unselfish dedications for the poor and the unprivileged.
Tamanna Ferdous carries with a big canvas and her area of discussions covers a vast range conveying relations between parents, parents and children, the relatives, the neighbours, the travel-mates, the colleagues, the next generations, teachers-students, positive and negative aspects of relations in our atmospheres. Even she did not leave out her daily routine – when she wakes up from sleep, when she performs her prayers, when she prepares her breakfast. In the book, we also get the pictures of her running for catching buses and trains, doing classes, returning home, doing homework even in illness and her going to sleep that she found not as a compfort but as a necessity. Amidst this hectic hours of the day, she managed time for reading and writing. She admits of hardships of life : competitions, envies, enmities, selfishness, cruelty are harrowing life, but there are also hopes for better future. There are also the touches intimate reflections in her writing which she wants to call poems. The writings are enough to convey her clarion to the readers.
Tamanna can deserve praisings that in the list of so many contents in the book, none of the entries is synonym to other, none contradicts other. This is undoubtedly significant, dignifying and rewarding before the face of her vast adult world. There are attractions in her describing events and situations. Her long staying abroad, studying different academic and non-academic courses, doing jobs in different workplaces, coming across people of different sections and communities, made her gaining experiences from varied corners. With her affectionate heart, she had seen the dilapidated lives and living conditions of the poorest sections of people in societies, the lives of the people neglected and segregated from the societies, living even in the same society.
Age is not always the criteria of breeding and delivering quality in the world of thoughts - a small Bangladeshi, living in Australia as a migrant proved this concept in her first writing as titled – The Power of a Positive Mind”, a book in English that she wrote at her early age. There are, and there may be, many young writers in the world, but as for a Bangladeshi, Tamanna Ferdous is quite exceptional in introducing subject matter common to all human beings and the quality of deliverance of thoughts and exposition of language. Not only this, she is quite non-partisan that in her whole discussion, she has never raised the points of her own sex, but the points of the sexes in general. She has depicted the pictures and problems of the inhabitants of the earth irrespective of sexes and ages, of the whites and the non-whites. As for language, the words are very simple common to the readers of all walks. The expressions are direct and easy, not burdened with complexities. There are simplicity of expression, clarity of thoughts, confident and logical arguments, meticulous observations, everywhere in the book. I strongly believe, the book will reach both professional and common readers.
